Moving Marathon: The Finals

Over the past 2 days we finished up everything at the apartment. The movers came to take our last bit of stuff to 'non-temporary storage' and we checked out with our landlord. We received our entire security deposit back! Score!

There's a couch in that paper somewhere

We also officially moved in with Mark's brother and sister-in-law. We were greeted with a delish BBQ meal and relaxing atmosphere, which we appreciated more than ever. Also, Mark finally had time to dig into his new hobby, coin collecting.

We are almost ready to go, but there has been a constant movement in our luggage. Organize, reorganize, and organize again... Constantly! It's getting closer to 'just right' and soon we will be on our way. However, I am happy to say that this issue is tiny compared to the stress of the moving week. The two of us are decompressing and it's delightful.

In other good news, Mark sold his car! It was a daunting few months of trying to get someone to buy it and he didn't get exactly what he wanted out of it. He spent all day yesterday driving around to lot after lot seeing if any dealers wanted it. Finally, someone did! Yay! He was a little disappointed in the turn out, but he did admit that he was happy that it was gone. It's another thing checked off of our long to-do list!

Last night was spent at The Melting Pot, which was ah-maz-ing! Mike & Jenn joined us in some laughs, good food, good chats, and hanging out. Much needed and much appreciated!

We are heading to Myrtle Beach within the next few hours to see Mark's other brother and his family before we head across the pond. Cheers to the weekend!
