Aqua Panda

For an Okinawa Summer Fun Day, we were worried about rain so we decided to check out Aqua Panda. I've been to an awesome "trick eye museum" in Seoul so I was pretty excited to check this place out. It's located in the ferris wheel building of American Village and is on the same floor as the entrance to it, too! Easy day.

We paid about $7/each admission and walked through the small black curtain to enter the museum. The first picture that we took, which I did not put in this post, didn't and still doesn't make much sense to me. Ha! Throughout the entire experience we all were kind of laughing off how ridiculous it all was. The good news is that we were all up for the adventure and we made the most of it.

We, ultimately, decided that the displays needed to be bigger or it was made for smaller people (but Jenn is petite so I still don't buy the "smaller people" idea). It was also hard to get a good picture because the doors were all really close to the displays. Thank goodness for the "crop" tool!

There was a lot of trial and error trying to figure out how we were supposed to stand or what we were supposed to do. I will say that, overall, I had a good time! It was fun exploring with Kacey, Jenn, and Baby C. Would I pay another $7? Probably not. Hey, not everything can be perfect sunshine and gum drops in Okinawa, right?!

  1. I like how positive you are, even when you clearly hate something.

    1. I don't want to be too critical in case someone else wants to try it out! I had my opinions, but it still made for a fun afternoon.

  2. Haha i've been wanting to check this place out! xP
