Exit Cafe is among some great restaurants in Ishikawa where old military housing has been converted into fun cafes serving delicious food! We discovered it many moons ago, but it has somehow been overlooked on my blog. That all changes today!
Mark's long time favorite is their Kimchi Pot. In the pot, there's kimchi flavored rice with pork, fresh veggies, raw egg, and a sweet teriyaki sauce that you drizzle over it. Because the pot is served fresh out of the oven, it continues to cook as you eat it!
My favorite dish is the baked curry. It comes out piping hot and is the delicious Japanese curry that we're all familiar with! This is a really good meal regardless of the time, but it's especially perfect for a rainy Oki day. On the other side of that coin, on a beautiful day you can enjoy their nice patio!
The menu is diverse and changes often (don't worry, they have their unchanging staples). There isn't a lot of parking so try to carpool if possible and it appears to only be a couple that runs the restaurant so be patient! Enjoy!
