From April to November, Broadway in Uptown Columbus turns into a fun market every Saturday morning from 9 to noon. You can find anything from flowers to pickled eggs and the crowd is just as diverse. It was one of the first things that Mark and I did after we moved to the area and has been a common activity in our schedule.
Many of the vendors give samples and, I'm not gonna lie, they can definitely sway you to buy some goodies! You can find delicious popcorn, jams, pastries, and fresh produce to eat. Then, there are all of the cute dog bandanas, quilts, and other fun stuff! Clearly, I highly recommend checking it out if you have the chance.
Getting some fun treats while we're out and about is always fun, but Maylee is the true attraction of our Saturday adventures. She gets so much attention! The amount of people that ask about her, pet her, and show her love nearly makes us want to leave her at home just so we can get some stuff done... I mean, don't get me wrong. WE know she's awesome, but sometimes we just want to enjoy our hand pies in peace! Ha!
Mark loved the pepper jelly that he got from Chambley Traditions
They accept applications to be a vendor sometime at the beginning of the year, from what I understand. Right now, they are allowing people to be put on a waitlist and you can contact the Uptown office at 706.596.0111 or email Becca at Becca@uptowncolumbusga.com.
