Indiana Baby Shower

At the end of January, right before Mark and I moved from Georgia to North Carolina, my mom and sister threw a baby shower for us! As you might have guessed, Mark wasn't able to attend but he was okay with that and I was able to soak in some "home" time (and a cheap direct flight) before our move.

Such a beautiful cake!

My sister was the creative genius behind the whole event and it was beautiful! My mom and my sister shared a Pinterest board that I was banned from because they knew that I'd want to get in on the planning action, but clearly they didn't need my help.

My sister glittered the elephant and made the sugar scrubs! Also, those are Ellen pacifiers on the table!

The most delicious rice krispy treats I've ever had. I'm not even kidding!

The food was delicious and the company was incredible. It was so great to see so many of my family and friends gathered around to celebrate Baby O. Not to mention all of the gifts that we were showered with!

As I opened gifts, all of the guest played Bingo and there were prizes for those that won. It was funny to see how engaged everyone was when the game was going on and how mildly uninterested they became after all the prizes were given away. However, it was totally understandable because there were nearly 30 people there and, after so many baby blankets, you kind of get the point.

I accidentally, but gladly, matched the color scheme!

Jessica and I are due 1 week apart!

It was a lovely afternoon surrounded by the people that I love! I'm so grateful for every single one of them and all the diapers that were gifted. I'll think of them every time we're changing little one's stinky bum. Haha!
