Tata Jo, Camp Lejeune's French Food Truck

There's a little food truck "park" here on base, which has been a fun way for Mark and I to have lunch together. We've taken a lot of opportunities to check them all out! One of our favorites is TataJo. It's so delicious and the woman, who I can only assume is "Auntie" Jo, runs the show and is so genuine and nice.

I had the chicken bagnat my first time there and it was tasty! It came out piping hot and the baguette was the perfect combo of crunchy and soft. It was a great sandwich, for sure.

Mark got the combo sandwich and had nothing bad to say. We were both very happy with what we had that day! We've been back since our first trip and still have no complaints.

I definitely recommend trying it out if you're in the area! The menu is plentiful and I'm sure the desserts are just as good as the food, but I haven't tried them yet.

Here's the schedule and if French isn't what you're into there are many other options! Also, all trucks take cash or card. Enjoy!!
